There’s usually a push from tenants and purchasers to get deals completed before Christmas and 2019 proved to be no different. Despite the distraction of the General Election, parties concentrated on ensuring transactions were completed before the holiday period. Huw Thomas Commercial was delighted to be involved with these deals.

In Melksham, local plumbing and heating company Ryan Poolman completed their purchase of the freehold of Unit B3 on the popular Ashville Centre. The unit of approximately 2,259 sq.ft was being offered with vacant possession at a Guide Price of £245,000.

Huw Thomas comments “With such a shortage of available properties in the market (both vacant and tenanted investments), tenants and purchasers realise they have to act quickly when an opportunity comes up. On a local level, parties do not appear to have been concerned about the Election or Brexit, and have just got on with their business. Hopefully this will continue through 2020”.
