Prezzo, the restaurant group renowned for delicious Italian food, great wines and relaxed atmosphere, opens in Chippenham this October. The arrival of this national restaurant chain is a key milestone in the development of the New Road area.

The new restaurant brings a taste of Italy to Chippenham with its authentic menu and elegant décor. Cremilda Marote, Operations Manager for Prezzo, said “We are all very excited about our new site and have worked hard to create a modern yet elegant casual dining experience for our customers. We have something to suit everyone, whether it’s an intimate dinner for two, a group night out, a relaxed family meal or a more formal occasion”.

Diners have plenty to explore on the Prezzo menu. For a light bite with friends there’s a great range of starters to share or a delicious superfood salad, or for a more indulgent celebration, there’s our Prezzo favourite Il Carltoni calzone or scrumptious spaghetti with king prawns. With our new menu launching in October, there’s never been such an exciting variety to choose from. Plus, a carefully crafted cocktail menu means you can celebrate any occasion in style!

Huw Thomas of Huw Thomas Commercial, who acted for the Landlord of the property in the letting to Prezzo comments “Some Chippenham residents are critical of the town, yet within a short section of New Road in the last few months, we have already attracted a Greek Restaurant new to the town, a state of the art 24 hour gym and now a major national chain restaurant in Prezzo. In the same area, the former Chappell & Matthews estate agency unit has gone under offer to an expanding local company within days of it coming to the market. It’s all positive news for the town.” The restaurant hopes to be open by 21st October.
