Chippenham is to get its first “micropub” thanks to a letting recently completed by Huw Thomas Commercial. The Prince of Wales Micropub will open at 8 Station Hill in the centre of Chippenham. Micropubs have become fashionable in recent years with local ones already open in Pewsey and Devizes. The new venture will be run by Tom Kyte, who is well known locally for his involvement with the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale and being part of the organising committee for the annual Chippenham Beer Festival.
