Somerset investment sold

Despite the current economic uncertainty, commercial property investments are still keenly sought after by investors. Chippenham-based Huw Thomas Commercial property consultancy has just sold a retail investment in the Somerset town of Midsomer Norton for in excess of its guide price. The High Street shop is let to the regional charity Dorothy House Foundation on a lease to 2022 at a rental of £20,000 per annum. Huw Thomas who acted for the vendor comments “We set the guide price at a realistic figure of £225,000 in order to attract interest. I’m very pleased to say that worked and within a very short space of time we had multiple bids, resulting in the property being sold for well in excess of its guide price.” For further information please contact Huw Thomas on 01249 704345 / 07970 494369 or email huw@huwthomascommercial.com

Leading the way has been the number of barber shops opening! It still amazes me the number we now have in some towns in the area. Are they all going to … Continued
